Electrician

Job Description

EMRA General Contracting is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, with at least 2 years of experience in the field. The candidate should possess an ITI certification or an equivalent qualification, along with a valid UAE driving license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring safe and effective solutions.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to complete projects efficiently.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on electrical system performance and required maintenance.
Qualifications
  • ITI certification or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as an Electrician.
  • Valid UAE driving license is required.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in fit-out projects or fire alarm systems.
  • Familiarity with the latest electrical tools, technologies, and software.
